In this new role, we are looking for a creative and dynamic Marketing Manager (Communications & Content Creation) to lead our brand storytelling, social media engagement, and digital content strategy as we embark on national expansion. Working closely with the director of marketing and senior leadership team, this role will bring the Mezza brand to life by creating authentic, behind-the-scenes content, managing corporate communications and being a brand communications expert on all things Mezza.Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy Development : Collaborate with the marketing team and senior leadership to define and refine Mezza's brand messaging, ensuring it aligns with our values and mission while appealing to a wider audience across Canada.Communication Ideation and Execution : Identify opportunities for creative communication initiatives, from conceptualization to execution, that showcase Mezza’s brand identity and culinary authenticity. Content Creation & Brand StorytellingDevelop and produce engaging video and photo content showcasing Mezza’s food, people, and behind-the-scenes operations.Capture authentic moments from our kitchens, new restaurant openings, franchisee stories, and customer experiences.Create content that highlights new menu items, brand milestones, and corporate initiatives.Write and edit compelling brand stories, blog posts, and captions to support our digital marketing strategy.Social Media, Influencer & Community EngagementManage and grow Mezza’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.Engage with followers, respond to comments / messages, and foster a strong online community.Identify, secure, and manage partnerships with key influencers in the food and lifestyle space.Keep informed on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to proactively suggest new communication tactics that can keep Mezza at the forefront of the Lebanese cuisine and QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) landscape.Corporate Communications & PRWorking with the Director of Marketing, develop and distribute press releases to promote company news, new openings, and brand achievements.Work with media agencies and public relations partners to amplify Mezza’s presence in the press.Support crisis communication strategies when necessary.Qualifications & Experience3+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, corporate communications, or public relations.Strong skills in video editing, photography, and storytelling.Excellent Project Management Skills : Ability to see communication projects through from conception to execution, managing timelines and resources effectively while meeting deadlines.Creative Problem Solver : Innovative thinker who can generate fresh ideas and approaches to content and communication that elevate the Mezza brand.Knowledge of social media trends, engagement tactics, and platform best practices.Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.) is a plus.Background in PR, journalism, or brand communications is an asset.The ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with a passion for food and storytelling.Occasional travel may be required to different restaurant locations across CanadaWe look forward to welcoming a motivated and talented marketing professional.
