JOB SUMMARY
The Fleet Supply Chain and Operational Support Branch provides fuel and automotive and general stores services, provides operational support related to all fleet management programs, ensures M5 / Assetworks (Fleet Management Information System) is aligned to and provides the information needed to enable fleet operations and decisions, and ensures that the City’s parts provision meets service and performance standards.
You are responsible for coordinating, advising and resolving Fleet Management Information System (FMIS) problems. You provide technical advice and support to City staff on the use of FMIS, Fuel Management System (FMS), GPS and telematics and vehicle diagnostic systems, utilities and software or hardware diagnostic products. You
also share application system security enforcement and maintenance responsibilities with other branch staff, and are responsible for, or involved in, various Fleet and Fuel computer system related projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 4 year university degree in Computer Science, Trades / Technology Leadership, or related
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in FMIS applications and hardware and Business Intelligence Reporting & Robotic Process Automation to be able to function as an experienced business analyst.
KNOWLEDGE

- Expert knowledge of various technologies and applications, including the family of desktop Microsoft products, and other common software packages.
- AssetWorks M5, AssetWorks Fuel Focus, Oracle database suite, DAX language
- Structured Query Language (SQL) and syntax variations
- Microsoft Power Platform applications
- GPS / Telematics systems and associated interfaces; client server architecture
- Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers.
