What is the opportunity? The Senior Manager, Research + Insights will lead enterprise-wide research engagements by leveraging secondary research to derive insightful analysis and support strategic initiatives across RBC.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for delivering this strategy support through research projects to a portfolio of internal business partners who are aligned to a specific platform.
The Research + Insights team plays a critical role providing an outside-in perspective on RBCs internal consulting engagements and also services business partners across the Enterprise with their specific research needs. What will you do?
- Build high-impact deliverables leveraging qualitative and quantitative information from best-in-class secondary research suppliers.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of secondary research projects that includes : scoping, information gathering, analysis, solution development, reviewing deliverables, and presenting findings.
- Engage with business units within your portfolio to understand their needs, identify appropriate research support and build relationships.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members both in a project setting and within the research practice overall.
- Support the expansion of the research service offerings and continuous improvement of the research practice.
- Provide support in managing enterprise-wide research needs and managing relationships with select research suppliers
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
- Masters or other post-secondary degree
- 3-5 years’ experience that leverages research and consulting capabilities to conduct research, synthesize big ideas, develop insights, present recommendations and meet stakeholder needs.
- 2+ years’ Financial Services experience in Financial Services
- Demonstrated high-level of proficiency in the following areas : Written and Verbal Communications, Logical Storyboarding, Relationship and Stakeholder Management
Nice-to-have
- Experience with vendor operations and supplier management
- Innovative thinker with proven experience to demonstrate outside-of-the-box thinking
