Job Description

This is a remote position.

  • Integrate new software systems with existing infrastructure
  • Analyze business needs to design and implement integration solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integration
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in integration and make recommendations for improvement
  • Provide training and support to end-users on integrated systems
  • Prepare necessary Integration design Document, payload, Integration deployment documents etc .
  • Liaise with Client business and technical resources to troubleshoot and resolve any assigned application integration functionality problems or queries.
  • Liaise with Client external business partners to troubleshoot and resolve any assigned application integration functionality problems or queries.
  • Ensure that data quality, integrity, and accuracy across all systems within the Client are maintained.
  • Provide documentation of integration processes, system architecture, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Promote a dynamic work environment to support the constant evolution of data technologies and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in integration and implementation of software systems
  • Knowledge of integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, and API Management
  • Experience with middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or IBM Integration Bus
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in middleware tools and integration platforms like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Oracle Fusion Middleware, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel and TIBCO.
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs and SOAP for building, deploying, and managing services that enable system communication.
  • Knowledge of ESB frameworks for handling communication, data transformation, and routing in complex integrations.
  • Data Transformation and Mapping : Expertise in ETL Processes (Extract, Transform, Load) with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS) to ensure proper data movement between systems.
  • Expertise in data mapping techniques for converting and transforming data formats across platforms, including XML, JSON, and XSLT.
  • Security and Compliance : Expertise with security protocols and standards, such as OAuth, SAML, LDAP, and SSO (Single Sign-On) encryption standards for data at rest and in transit (e.g., AES, RSA, TLS) and data security and privacy throughout the integration process, to compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
  • Programming and Scripting : Expertise in integration-focused languages like Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript, scripting tools such as PowerShell or Bash for automation and workflow tasks and a strong understanding of SQL with experience querying relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) to integrate systems at the data layer.
  • Networking and Communication Protocols : Expertise in network protocols such as TCP / IP, HTTP / S, FTP, SFTP, and SSL / TLS for secure communication between systems and messaging queues and brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or IBM MQ to facilitate real-time data exchange.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting : Expertise in creating and executing tests
  • Plans for end-to-end integration testing to validate system compatibility and performance. Deep experience in troubleshooting integration issues using tools like Wireshark, Postman, or log analyzers to resolve errors and optimize performance.

    Requirements

    Education and Experience

  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to integrating enterprise information systems.
  • A post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of government procurement practices, financial and human resources operations, and considerable experience in payroll practices would be considered assets.
  • Ability to understand Government workflows, processes, and approvals.
  • Knowledge of modern project management best practices and considerable experience in technical project delivery would be considered an asset. Required Competencies
