Job description

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support and optimize our clients donation processing systems and donor database integration . The ideal candidate will analyze and improve data flows between Rotessa, PayPal, Stripe, Canada Helps, IATS, and Kindful , while identifying opportunities to automate deposit postings and streamline manual data entry . This role requires a strong background in system integration, automation, and non-profit fundraising platforms , with experience in tools like PowerApps and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities :

System Analysis & Integration :

  • Evaluate current donation processing workflows and propose enhancements.
  • Optimize integration between Kindful and accounting systems to reduce manual entry.
  • Identify automation opportunities for donation deposits and donor database updates .
  • Work towards consolidating platforms to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

Process Optimization & Automation :

  • Improve the posting of PayPal, EFT, and Stripe transactions to Kindful and accounting.
  • Develop batch processing solutions for non-integrated payment methods .
  • Leverage PowerApps and automation tools to streamline workflows

    • Required Experience :

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , preferably in non-profit or fundraising environments .
  • Strong knowledge of donation processing platforms (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Kindful, Canada Helps, Rotessa).
  • Experience with system integrations, data automation, and API connectivity .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps, Databricks, and automation tools .
  • Understanding of non-profit accounting principles and donor management databases .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset .
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
