Job Title : Senior Techno-Functional Data Analyst

Duration : Contract

Location : Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Role Description :

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
Work with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) for data ingestion, storage, and management.
Implement data orchestration and scheduling with Control-M to ensure timely data movement and processing.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and ensure they align with technical solutions.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity, performance, and optimal delivery.
Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems, ensuring continuous data integration.
Design and implement solutions leveraging Informatica for ETL processes (where applicable).
Work with Oracle DB to manage and optimize relational databases and integrate data pipelines.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.
Document technical and functional specifications, data flow diagrams, and other relevant materials.

Experience (Years) :

10 + years of experience

Essential Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience as a Techno-Functional Analyst or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in the required tools and technologies.

Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating ETL workflows.

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) for data storage and management.

Proficiency in Databricks for data processing and analytics, especially in Spark.

Expertise in Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation.

Excellent understanding of business processes and ability to align them with technology solutions.

Desirable Skills : Experience with Informatica for ETL and data integration tasks.

Knowledge of Oracle DB for managing relational databases, complex queries, and data migrations.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
