Job description

We are seeking a Permanent Parts Associate to support our client’s high-volume facility in Milton. Our client is a prominent automotive parts distributor looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge of automotive components.

Location :

  • Main Intersection : Lawson Rd and Steeles Ave, Milton, Ontario

Shift :

  • Monday to Friday (6 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM)
  • Pay Rate :

  • 23 to $25 per hour

  • Responsibilities

    Parts ordering :

  • Maintain vendor relations.
  • Use printed and digital parts manuals to identify parts required
  • Obtain parts quotes from multiple suppliers
  • Plan delivery schedules
  • Use internal system to place orders
  • Parts management :

  • Work with the shop mangers to ensure a timely turnaround of parts
  • Manage allocation of inventoried parts to work in process.
  • General warehouse responsibilities

  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications :

  • Experience ordering parts in a high SKU automotive parts distribution setting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Safety First mindset.
  • Ability to work outside regular business hours, when required.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time
