As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on SAP within AWS, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broaden the use of Amazon's web services (Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon EBS, etc.

across the global SAP customers through our partners. Emphasis will be on working directly with the partners to develop cloud migration and / or adoption strategies to help customers migrate and operate their business critical SAP systems on AWS.

As the right candidate, you will possess in-depth technical skills in both SAP products and cloud computing as well as partner development and customer facing skills that will enable you to represent AWS well, not only to customers but to the broader SAP community including SAP, developers & architects.

You should also have the ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

Key job responsibilities

  • Architect, Design and Build SAP extensions with RISE, SAP Business Technology Platform and AWS services in the areas of Data Analytics, GenAI, Observability, Security and more
  • Partner with SAP, Systems Integrators and ISVs to build SAP extensions
  • Collaborate with AWS engineering to build, test and automate SAP extensions with Amazon services
  • Publish technical thought leadership, solution guidance and jointly present at conferences with SAP

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation / consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S / 4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.
