Job Title: Nanny for 18-Month-Old Daughter (In-Home)

Location : Keswick

Schedule : Monday through Friday, approx. 6-7 hours a day

Job Description :

We are seeking a kind, empathetic, and engaging nanny to care for our 18-month-old daughter in a nurturing environment at home.

The ideal candidate will understand child development and use thoughtful communication to guide her through her day in a positive, supportive way.

We are looking for someone patient, emotionally aware, and passionate about fostering fun and interactive learning experiences.

Since I work from home, there will be times when I spend time with my daughter, giving the nanny a chance to plan activities, prepare meals, or take a break.

We need someone comfortable in a flexible environment and able to work alongside us.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide compassionate care and respond to our daughter’s needs with empathy.

Encourage emotional development by helping her express her feelings using gentle guidance and positive reinforcement.

Plan age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, motor, and social growth.

Follow a structured routine, including meals, naps, and playtime.

Prepare healthy, toddler-friendly meals and snacks that meet her preferences.

Maintain a calm, engaging environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.

Communicate with parents about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.

Perform light housekeeping related to the child, like cleaning up after meals and organizing toys. No cleaning beyond her care is required.

Qualifications :

Experience working with toddlers in a home or professional setting.

A kind, patient, and calm demeanor with a passion for nurturing young children.

Ability to create a safe, playful environment that supports emotional and cognitive development.

Familiarity with early childhood milestones and age-appropriate activities.

Willingness to prepare healthy meals and snacks, avoiding processed sugar.

Strong communication skills to provide updates on routines and progress.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Recent vulnerable sector criminal record check.

Bonus Qualities :

A background in early childhood education or child development.
