We are seeking a Recruitment Advisor  in Calgary, Alberta who thrives in the challenge of high-volume recruitment. Responsibilities :

  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle for multiple project sites while creating a positive candidate experience and promoting ATCO’s EVP.
  • Perform high volume, fast paced recruitment during new project start ups (mobilizations).
  • Proactively partner with business leaders and Human Resources Business Partners to understand workforce requirements.
  • Support and advise hiring managers with interviewing, onboarding processes, recruitment strategies and candidate selection.
  • Support the business development process by conducting labour market research and making recommendations on staffing to capture new business.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations to encourage greater participation by under-represented groups.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline of candidates for future consideration on key roles.
  • Support and attend recruitment and human resources functions such as recruitment job fairs, client based open houses.
  • Some limited travel as required.

Qualifications / Skills :

  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related course work complemented with or more years of direct experience in a recruitment advisor level role. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Organized with proven attention to detail, problem solving, and ability to handle high volume work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in mass hiring, project mobilization / ramp up. Project coordination is essential.
  • Able to work in a high-volume recruiting environment and comfortable working under pressure.
  • Self-driven and reliable with a strong sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
  • Well-experienced using various recruiting tools and software Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). previous experience with Oracle will be considered an asset.
  • Superior communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information in an appropriate manner.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally in a dynamic environment while leading multiple client demands and priorities.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and establish strong working relationships.
