We're looking for a permanent full-time continental shift Millwright to be responsible for the P.M., upkeep, and repair of the automated manufacturing and high-speed packaging equipment.

Job Type : Permanent position

Location : Brandon, MB

Schedule : Rotating shift (12 hours : 2 / 2 / 3 / 2 / 2 / 3)

Environment : Unionized

Wage : Hourly $43.77 an hour to start + $1.20 after 6pm premium

Perks : Up to $5,000 relocation signing bonus.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing :

Conduct reactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment. Troubleshoot and repair equipment during breakdowns to minimize downtime

Perform equipment installations and modifications, including part repairs. Having an understanding of machine and system schematics to effectively P.M., troubleshoot, and do root-cause repairs on high-speed machinery and equipment (with a focus on pumps, valves, gearboxes, pneumatics / hydraulics, conveyors, automated machinery, and packaging machinery).

Work efficiently in a processing environment while ensuring food safety standards

Adhere to company policies and foster a safety-first culture

Take on additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or designated leadership

Qualifications

What you bring :

Red Seal Millwright ticket, with maintenance experience (manufacturing or fabrication)

Experience in Hydraulics and pneumatics

Ability to be reliable, honest, and show strong work ethic

Basic electrical, fabrication, welding (stainless), and machining experience

Knowledge or ability to quickly learn CMMS (M2, SAP) programs
