Breaking925 is looking for a VOLUNTEER CFO to serve on its Board of Directors!
Our organization is a BRAND NEW (to be federally incorporated) Canadian non-profit with the mission to address systemic employment barriers faced by mid-senior career professions due to disability. We are not seeking charity status. Our first year will be focused on establishing strong foundations, then branching into research and policy influencing, projects and programs - aimed at fulfilling our mission.
Role Description
This is a volunteer role for a Chief Financial Officer at Breaking925. The main office of the organization is in Ottawa, ON, the majority of work will be done remotely. Board meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of the month (except June-Aug), unless there is an emergency. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, financial statements, finance, analytical skills, and financial reporting.
