Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team, to lead the testing for our upcoming retail banking digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, test automation, and understanding of retail banking software / solutions.

Major Duties & Responsibilities :

Define test strategies and build test plans for new features, continuously improving existing ones.
Requirement Analysis and design test cases.
Conduct various types of testing (Smoke, Sanity, Functional, SIT, E2E, Compatibility, Regression) and assist with UAT and post-production verification.
Lead end-to-end test automation efforts, implementing & maintaining efficient automated test scripts and frameworks.
Integrate automated tests into the CI / CD pipeline.
Conduct mobile app testing to ensure quality across web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Engineering team members, Product Managers, and Infra teams.
Identify, track, and report defects, perform root cause analysis, and support defect triage.
Maintain clear and thorough documentation of QA processes, test cases, and findings.
Provide mentorship and leadership to junior QA engineers.
Facilitate knowledge sharing across all team members.

Qualifications & Experience :

Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job :

5+ years in QA engineering, with expertise in manual as well as web & mobile automated testing.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Exposure on - performance / stress testing, accessibility testing, security testing.

Having worked in Start-up or fast paced environments.
