Position Overview :
We are seeking a responsible and organized Warehouse Attendant to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory handling, order fulfillment, and maintaining warehouse organization.
Experience in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment is considered an asset and will aid in managing the demands of a multi-client setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inventory Management : Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock. Track and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Order Fulfillment : Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Loading and Unloading : Safely load and unload shipments, optimizing space in the storage areas.
- Warehouse Organization : Keep the workspace clean, organized, and efficient. Follow established protocols for product placement and inventory arrangement.
- Quality Control : Inspect items for quality and ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
- Documentation and Reporting : Accurately record inventory movements and shipments, utilizing warehouse management software.
- Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment and report any safety issues.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar field.
- 3PL experience is an asset.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (forklift certification preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
