What can you expect :

As a Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for developing the plans and activities to take a product to market. You will help define product pricing, packaging, and positioning to target customers. You will lead the team of Product Marketing Managers and their mission to bring products to market while communicating their value to customers, drive adoption, and maximize product revenue.

You'll be responsible for :

Product Positioning & Go-To-Market

Develop customer-centric messaging and product positioning that resonates with both existing customers and prospective buyers, clearly articulating the "why," "how," and "what" of products.

Establish a deep understanding of competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and strategies, and translate insights into actionable positioning for the company;

Create, develop, and refine value propositions, product pitches, and strategies for differentiation and positioning that resonates with target buyers and user personas;

Partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to ensure positioning aligns with customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and product roadmap priorities.

Lead outreach to partners, influencers, and key customers to build advocacy, drive feedback loops, and increase market trust in product offerings.

Plan, lead, and manage go-to-market strategies across various channels to drive product adoption and further our differentiation in the market.

Growth & Enablement

Develop high-impact sales enablement tools, to partner effectively with product managers from ideation through to launch;

Develop tailored sales enablement tools (e.g., playbooks, pitch decks, competitive comparison guides) and provide hands-on support to internal teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Product to collect and analyze feedback to refine positioning and ensure alignment with customer needs

Partner with our education team to ensure alignment and create internal training programs to better equip teams with a deep understanding of the product and its value.

Product Launches

Develop comprehensive and engaging product launch plans, manage the launches, define success criteria, provide insights and direction and laterally influence functional stakeholders to ensure an effective and scalable go-to-market process;

Work with the product team to test the product both internally and externally through controlled beta environments.

Collaborate with Marketing to deliver targeted campaigns that educate customers on product benefits and drive adoption, particularly during and after product launches.

Team Management & Development

Hire, train and mentor a team of results-focused marketers;

Monitor, optimize and report on relevant performance metrics and ROI.

What we want from you :

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or in a related field; MBA : an asset;

Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B product marketing in a SaaS environment with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in team management;

Strong knowledge in go-to-market (GTM) processes and building effective plans to bring new product and features to market in a SaaS environment;

Experienced in working with cross-functional teams to gather technical details and develop relevant content;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in French and English : written & spoken;

Hands-on execution of product marketing development; ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally;

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to design and own metrics, and to extract quantitative insights to show effectiveness;

Proven ability to influence and build credibility with product, marketing and management teams;

Superior project management and organization skills;

Team oriented, rigor and detail-oriented;

Understanding of the North American e-commerce market, an asset;

Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Trello, an asset.
