As an Analytics Engineer at Musora, you’ll build and optimize data pipelines, design data warehouses, and ensure data quality across the organization. Join us to create the infrastructure that powers reliable, data-driven decisions—and helps us revolutionize online music education.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Data Infrastructure, Collection, and Quality

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data collection, transformation, and storage.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure proper instrumentation of data collection, capturing key user events, product usage metrics, and other critical business data.
  • Implement and manage ETL / ELT processes for efficient data movement and transformation across multiple systems.
  • Validate data completeness, accuracy, and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving inconsistencies across various sources.
  • Enforce data governance policies, including privacy standards, access controls, and data quality best practices to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide clear documentation and guidelines for data handling, ensuring data is consistently structured and accessible for downstream analysis and reporting.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration and Data Enablement

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, finance) to gather and refine data requirements, ensuring that data collection and infrastructure design support key business use cases.
  • Act as a data subject matter expert, advising teams on how to best leverage data for decision-making.
  • Provide training and mentorship to non-technical stakeholders, empowering them to explore and utilize data confidently in their workflows.
  • 3. Continuous Improvement and Best Practices

  • Stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in data infrastructure, tooling, and analytics engineering.
  • Regularly review and optimize data pipelines and models for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Complete code reviews and implement best practices to ensure production-quality data pipelines and transformations.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation across the organization.
  • Document processes, systems, and data models to ensure team alignment and knowledge sharing.
  • Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    Experience

  • Previous experience working with data to answer business questions.
  • Proven track record of turning plain-language questions into clear, repeatable SQL and reporting.
  • Familiarity with building and maintaining dashboards, reports, or data models.
  • Excellent knowledge of ETL systems.
  • Technical Skills

  • Fluency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Experience with data pipeline tools or modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, Stitch).
  • Python, R, or similar skills.
  • Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills for translating complex data concepts into easy-to-understand insights.
  • A detail-oriented approach to identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Self-motivated and curious, with a passion for discovering new ways to leverage data across the organization.

  • Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)
  • Bonus if you have :
