Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Operator for a temporary to possibly permanent position in Brampton, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling, storing, and distributing materials in accordance with customer guidelines and ISO 9001 standards. This role requires operating powered hand trucks and forklifts, ensuring a safe and organized working environment while contributing to operational goals.

Pay rate : $22 / hour.

Location : Brampton, ON

Shifts : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities :

Receive, store, and distribute materials and products efficiently and accurately, following customer guidelines.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards in all material handling processes.

Operate powered hand trucks and forklift equipment, including counterbalance and reach trucks.

Safely move, stack, and organize materials in the warehouse for proper storage and retrieval.

Conduct regular checks to ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet operational goals and customer requirements.

Perform inventory checks and assist with stocktaking as needed.

Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to the supervisor.

Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements :

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

At least 2 years of continuous driving experience operating counterbalance and reach trucks.

A valid certification and / or license to operate powered hand trucks and forklift equipment.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and a commitment to adhering to quality guidelines.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials safely.

Excellent communication skills.
