Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Electrician / Millwright , where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our production and facility equipment. We’re seeking a skilled professional with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and automated systems who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title : Licensed Electrician / Millwright

Location : Stayner, ON

Job Type : Full-Time

Pay rate : $40 / hr-$45 / hr

Responsibilities :

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Troubleshoot and repair building mechanical / electrical systems, including building automation, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Replace defective parts, reassemble equipment, and ensure proper functioning using hand and power tools.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated manufacturing equipment and fixtures per manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Support the facilities team with general building maintenance tasks.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team while also working independently as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Production areas may include hot and humid environments.
  • Willingness to support overtime and weekend work on short notice.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, bending, crouching, pushing, and pulling.

Requirements

  • 3–10 years of practical experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Must have a Millwright or Electrical license.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming (asset).
  • Forklift license (asset).
  • Strong verbal communication skills and experience working within a team.
  • Previous health and safety or first aid training (asset).
  • Valid driver’s license.
