Position : Vice President or Associate, Investment Banking

Our expertise lies in providing top-tier advisory services in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and raising institutional debt and equity capital.
Key Responsibilities :
As a Vice President or Associate within our Canadian and U.S. team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing advisory and capital market transactions for a diverse portfolio of private and public clients. Your responsibilities will include :
- Leading the execution of financing and M&A advisory mandates, providing end-to-end support for clients throughout the process.
- Delivering client presentations and actively participating in pitch development.
- Supervising and guiding junior bankers in the preparation of pitch books and transaction-related materials, such as offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses.
- Conducting financial valuations, including discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable company analyses.
- Analyzing complex corporate and financial data and managing due diligence processes.
- Building and fostering client relationships through transaction execution, pitching, and support coverage.
This role offers significant client exposure, requiring you to attend and lead meetings with C-suite executives (CEOs, CFOs, etc.) while developing and maintaining strong client relationships. You will manage multiple projects concurrently, working with both internal teams and senior leadership to create and implement customized client solutions.
Qualifications :
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and at least three years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance.Vice-President role requires a minimum of five years of real estate and financing experience. Associate requires a minimum of three years of real estate and financing experience.Exceptional technical skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.A critical thinker with a proven ability to analyze companies and financial data effectively.Strong multitasking capabilities to handle various transactions and projects simultaneously.Willingness to travel throughout North America as required.
