About the Role :

Our client, a dynamic and professional organization in Vernon, is looking for a skilled Bookkeeping & Payroll Clerk to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual with a friendly and outgoing personality to grow their career in bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll. The role offers a variety of responsibilities, including financial entries, payroll processing, and reconciliations, in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform standard bookkeeping tasks, including daily financial entries and GST filing.
  • Manage source deductions and prepare monthly and year-end reports.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and assist with payroll processing.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage, analyze, and report financial data.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Requirements

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Sage accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data management and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing attitude.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
