Main Responsibilities :
- Review and evaluate medical assessment reports to ensure continuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling, grammar and compliance with current regulations.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on medical documentation, including medical histories, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in medical assessments and provide timely feedback to assessors for correction.
- Collaborate with assessors, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to assessors on quality assurance procedures and documentation requirements.
- Ensure accurate report timelines are recorded
- Ensure reports are sent to the client on time
- Ensure the timely follow-up and tracking of all QA statuses and reports
- Follow QA protocols for releasing and saving reports
- Offer exceptional customer service when responding to client queries and / or explaining report discrepancies
- Identify issues that will impact on service standards and rectify or escalate those issues
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A regulated health professional with at least 3 years' experience either as a Kinesiologist, Physiotherapist or NurseAMA Guides training or C-CAT certification is an asset1-2 years work experience in medical clinic, hospital or insurance officeAction-oriented, highly organized, results-oriented, independent problem solver with demonstrated clinical, medical legal assessment and / or adjudication experienceDetailed familiarity with the current and prior auto insurance legislation, arbitration and associated legal decisions.Solid command of the English language and demonstrated excellent communication skillsHas working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and navigate new systemFlexible and team-orientedFrench / English fluency is strongly preferredWhy choose Viewpoint?
