Our mission is to accelerate hyperbitcoinization, providing tools for individuals, enterprises, and nation-states to benefit and be part of a free and open financial system based on Bitcoin.SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant for a full-time permanent contract position to join our team. You will be responsible for handling administrative tasks such as managing the team's schedule and handling correspondence. You will also assist the HR function by supporting hiring logistics and internal coordination as needed. This is a hybrid role requiring you to work onsite at our downtown office in Victoria, BC, at least half of the week, with the flexibility to manage the remainder of your work activities independently in a remote setting. Please note that this is a contract position and not local employment.ResponsibilitiesAdministrative responsibilitiesManage scheduling, including coordinating meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for team members and ensure schedules are updated and communicated effectivelyHandle emails and correspondence, including responding to inquiries and managing incoming and outgoing mail and shipmentPerform general administrative tasks, such as filling and maintaining recordsMaintain an organized and clean office environmentTake on project management tasks as needed and assist with special projectsHR supportCoordinate with team members and recruiters to develop job descriptions for open positionsPost job advertisements on various platformsScreen resumes and CVs to shortlist candidatesConduct initial assessments of applicantsSchedule interviews for candidates and team members and communicate interview schedules to all partiesRequirementsProficiency in Google WorkspaceExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsWorking experience as Administrative assistant or / and in Human resource would be plusExperience in using project management tools for tracking tasks and progressExcellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with other team membersStrong independency to manage own work activitiesLocated in Victoria BC
