Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Call Manager Voice Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications solutions, including Cisco Call Manager. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless voice communication and infrastructure optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and support Cisco Call Manager and associated voice systems.
- Configure and maintain VoIP infrastructure, including gateways, SIP trunks, and Cisco Unity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve voice system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate voice solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain documentation for voice system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and IT staff.
- Stay up to date with the latest Cisco technologies and industry trends in voice communications.
- Assist in planning and executing voice-related projects, including migrations and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in voice communications.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as a Cisco Voice Engineer with expertise in Cisco Call Manager and VoIP technologies.Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP), and QoS principles.Cisco certifications such as CCNA Voice, CCNP Collaboration, or similar are highly desirable.Experience with Cisco Unity, UCCX, and other Cisco collaboration tools.Proficient in troubleshooting voice and data network issues using various diagnostic tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with cloud-based voice solutions (e.g., Cisco Webex Calling, Microsoft Teams).Knowledge of firewall and security configurations related to voice services.Familiarity with telephony hardware (phones, headsets, conferencing equipment)Why Join MIR Digital?
