Your role in a nutshell
We are seeking a strategic and highly skilled Digital Director to lead the development and operation of our eCommerce platform and Amazon marketplace. This role is essential for driving digital sales and enhancing our online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in launching and operating Shopify Plus commercial platforms, combined with a robust technical foundation and a proven track record of driving online revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth
- Oversee the development, launch, and ongoing optimization of The Body Shop Canada's Shopify Plus platform
- Analyze digital sales performance metrics and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Implement best practices in digital merchandising, SEO, and customer engagement to drive conversion rates
Marketplace Management :
Lead the operation and growth of the Amazon marketplace, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and performance goalsDevelop and execute promotional campaigns to maximize visibility and sales on the Amazon platformTechnical Leadership :
Provide technical guidance on ecommerce solutions, including website architecture, payment processing, and inventory managementCollaborate with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of all digital platformsBuild and lead a high-performing ecommerce and digital marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaborationMentor team members in digital marketing strategies, analytics, and ecommerce technologiesStakeholder Collaboration :
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure cohesive execution of ecommerce initiativesEngage with external partners and vendors to enhance platform capabilities and reachBudget Management :
Develop and manage the ecommerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI on digital initiativesQualifications / Competencies
