Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Cloud Security, Consultant, to join the Cloud Security Engineering team and own the following responsibilities :

Ability to collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

Deliver high quality work in collaboration with other teams on time and within budget.

Perform reviews of cloud security architectures / implementations and provide risk-based recommendations.

Assist in the identification of automation opportunities both internally and for clients.

Collaborating with a team to execute the implementation of security controls.

Research current cloud security technology advancements, trends, and directions to enhance existing service offerings and\or client challenges.

Participate in the development of solutions to address client’s unique cloud security challenges.

Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process.

Your experience and education

You have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience and firsthand experience with :

Experience and\or knowledge in various aspects of cloud security, such as identity and access management, logging and monitoring, data security and cloud reference architecture.

Basic comprehension of networking concepts

Awareness of application security concepts and how to design and architect applications securely

Familiarity with security evaluations and audit frameworks for the cloud - Cloud Security Alliance CCM, CIS, NIST Cloud Reference Architecture

Knowledge of security risks in the cloud and how to fix and apply controls.

Preferred hands-on experience with cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and\or Google Cloud

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to explain complex technical concepts, work with cross-functional teams, and provide clear documentation.

Ability to prepare comprehensive proposals and reports to convey technical information to various stakeholders.

Ability to work within a team both in-person and remotely.

NIST Standards

Cybersecurity Best Practices

It’s an asset if you have one or more of the following certifications and / or education :

College Diploma or University Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security or Computer Science

Advanced certification in one or more cloud service platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform
