Job descriptionCompletion of high school CSA approved steel toe boots Previous experience in structural steel fabrication shop considered an asset Successful helpers will have an opportunity to advance and to apply and train for Welder, Fitter and Machine Operator positions
Responsibilities
- Load and un-load trucks in both shipping and receiving ends of the plant
- Use overhead crane to move steel and organize the yard
- Locate steel pieces for Machine operators, Fitters and Welders
- Pick up debris to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Working in all weather conditions
- All around help in the steel shop when needed
Requirements
