Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse to join our Computerized Provider Order Management (CPOM) project team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on our organization by enhancing clinical workflows and supporting the transition to an optimized, efficient electronic order management system. Primary Responsibilities In this role, the SME will be the main point of contact for nursing-related expertise within the CPOM project.Key responsibilities include : Workflow Working Group Participation : Act as the primary nursing representative, ensuring that clinical workflows are accurately represented and optimized. Workflow and Order Set Validation : Review and validate workflows and order sets to ensure they meet the clinical needs and standards of nursing practice. Integrated Testing : Participate in integrated testing to confirm system functionality and identify any potential issues prior to go-live. Validation of Educational Material : Assess and validate training and education materials to ensure they are accurate, clear, and effective for the nursing staff. Transition to Super User Role : During the go-live phase, transition into a Super User role with a focus on supporting staff and troubleshooting issues in real time (budgeted under training and go-live). Super User Responsibilities include : Assist with training sessions and on-site readiness activities including roadshows. Engage and support nursing staff through effective communication and hands-on training. Support the go-live process by offering on-the-floor guidance and assistance. Change Champion Support : Act as a change champion and contribute to communication efforts to ensure all team members are well-informed of project updates and expectations. Skills & Abilities We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented nurse with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and experience with order management systems for both ordering and non-ordering providers.
