Job Description
Skills and Responsibilities :
- 5+ years of overall IT experience.
- Good knowledge of Unix / Linux system administration both infrastructure and Application management.
- Experience in scripting and automation of operational tasks in one or more languages like Python, Shell Scripting, Ansible... etc.
- Strong understanding of various networking protocols like TCP, HTTP / HTTPS, TLS
- Experience working with SSAS, databases / and SQL language.
- General understanding of Windows server administration.
- ITIL knowledge, including incident / change / problem management
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations for outage-handling
- Strong organizational skills to deliver on time and the ability to manage multiple tasks in high pressure situations for Incident handling, management and resolution.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Independent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a mindset for taking ownership.
- Skills Desired : Windows & IIS administration experience
- Tomcat / Apache experience - ITIL certification
- Familiarity with Agile working practices and DevOps
- Experience working with or supporting Business Intelligence applications (Business Objects, QlikView, Tableau, Power Bl.)
- Prior experience working in the financial services industry"
