MatrixHR is seeking multiple skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenters to join our clients team. This exciting project is an ongoing position located in Surrey BC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and woodworking, with the ability to work on various projects that require precision and craftsmanship.
As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing high-quality finishes, ensuring that all work meets proper safety and standards.
Responsibilities :
- Assemble and install cabinets, trim, moldings, and other finish carpentry elements.
- Perform siding installation and restoration tasks as needed..
- Execute caulking tasks to ensure a clean and finished appearance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols while on the job site.
Skills :
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques
- Ability to restore existing structures while maintaining their integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- A background as a maintenance person is beneficial but not required.
