Job descriptionEngage with individuals and families as they attempt to work through money challenges. You will listen to them, help them connect to resources, and give them hope. Work with clients to develop a money management plan and / or budgeting techniques and help them transform the way they use credit Assist clients in finding appropriate and life-changing solutions to their financial problems. Utilize customer relationship management and case management tools to assist clients in finding solutions to their debt and helping them follow through. Build trust with clients to successfully guide them through their decision-making process, allowing them to improve their quality of life and achieve financial wellness Establish and maintain positive connections with creditors, business partners and community agencies to advocate for clients and make referrals to other services where applicable. 3-5 years experience providing high quality customer service Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Past work experience in Credit Counselling, credit industry or financial services is an asset Experience with Hubspot is an asset Background in accounting or business is an asset Ability to build strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities Ability to work independently and cooperatively with fellow employees Detail-oriented approach, impeccable time management and organizational skills, proven ability to self-manage responsibilities Strong interest in learning about personal finance Strong ability to work with a multicultural public in a personable and empathetic manner Must be bondable
