Are you ready to suit up?
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Security guard to work a full-time overnight schedule at a state of the art industrial facility in the South end of Barrie.
This role will see you providing access control, monitoring CCTV cameras, completing foot patrols and providing excellent customer service to staff, visitors and contractors.
Successful applicants will have a background in customer service, have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and be able to learn new computer systems quickly.
Schedule : FULL TIME Tuesday to Saturday 0000-0800
Applicants MUST be able to work this full schedule in order to be selected.
Pay : $18.00 / Hour starting with potential for advancement and pay increases.

What does a Security Guard in Barrie do?
- Facilitate access control to building and sensitive areas of the facility
- Upkeep of access and equipment logs
- Providing escorts for contractors into restricted areas
- Testing of building security and fire systems
- Alarm investigation
- Emergency response
- CCTV Monitoring and dispatch of assets to address any issues
Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Barrie
- Valid security license
- Valid CPR / First Aid from WSIB approved provider
- Available to work schedule described above
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ease with computer systems
- Able to properly articulate motivation for applying and working in security field
