Technical Writer

Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Technical Writer for our client.

Technical Skills and Experience

• 3 years as a tech writer (Min)
• Experience documenting Cloud / Azure solutions with Kubernetes, API and Web solutions
• Experience with Agile and DevOps delivery
• Nice to have : Experience with Bank systems technical writing

Will support HBT with :

• Project Wiki design and administration
• Operations Wiki design and administration (sourced from Project Wiki)
• API Development Portal documentation
• User Guide / Reference
• Schema definition documentation
• FAQ documentation
• Release Notes
• UI Copy development (to be approved by the business)
• Technical Support Documentation (in relation to Modules used by the Business Support Groups)
• Technical design documentation to be shared with Lenders and Partners (Change Management)
• Lender / Partner material they would use to develop their change management and training material (change support)

Collaborative Mindsets and Behaviours

• Work efficiently in an agile delivery framework, in full collaboration with a pod team of 10-12 people (identify number of years of experience in agile team work)
• Works in a camera on approach during agile ceremonies and meetings when working remotely.
• Willing to work at the closest city office location (Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Halifax, Calgary,) to match office hours (currently established at 1 day per week or 4 days per month)
• Communicate often with other team members, developers, tech leads and solution architects to ensure requirements are well established
