The Tractor Technician is a permanent, full-time position. You will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technician / Mechanics and Tractor Technician / Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.
Qualifications :
A 3rd year Apprentice or Licensed Tractor TechnicianExperience working on tractors as a Heavy Equipment Apprentice or TechnicianPrevious experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this positionDemonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilitiesAbility to provide superior customer service to our DriversSupport and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeshipBasic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)Class 5 Driver’s LicenseAbility to work unsupervisedMust be fluent in the English languagePay and Shift Schedules :
Pay rate is $30 / per hour and up. Pay will vary based on experience.
