The Tractor Technician is a permanent, full-time position. You will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technician / Mechanics and Tractor Technician / Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.

Qualifications :

  • A 3rd year Apprentice or Licensed Tractor Technician
  • Experience working on tractors as a Heavy Equipment Apprentice or Technician
  • Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position
  • Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities
  • Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
  • Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship
  • Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)
  • Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Must be fluent in the English language

    • Pay and Shift Schedules :

  • Pay rate is $30 / per hour and up. Pay will vary based on experience. Shift premiums may apply.
  • South Shop - 234090 Wrangler Road, Rocky View, AB - Evening shift : This position is subject to 4-10 hour evenings, Monday to Thursday afternoon shift schedule, hours of work are 16 : 00 – 2 : 30.
