Key Responsibilities :
- Provide sound legal advice to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding throughout the legal process.
- Support senior lawyers with complex matters while managing your own caseload of less complex files.
- Represent clients in court and in alternative dispute resolution settings.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and external experts to prepare for court proceedings and negotiations.
- Assist clients with the preparation of key legal documents, including financial statements.
- Research legal issues and draft necessary documents, such as pleadings, applications, briefs, and factums.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure they are well-informed throughout their case.
- Meet with potential clients to assess their legal needs and provide initial guidance.

Qualifications :
- Law degree (Juris Doctor or equivalent).
- A minimum of 15 years of family law experience.
- Membership in good standing with the BC Bar.
- Ability to independently manage cases from start to finish.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, detail-oriented work style.
- Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to delegate tasks and provide clear direction.
