The Quality Manager is responsible for the overall quality performance. This includes Prime approvals, improving First Time Right (FTR), maintaining and developing relationships with customers and improving processes.
The successful candidate will have direct experience in the Aerospace industry and Nadcap
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation, maintenance and scope extensions of all accreditations such as ISO / IEC 17025, Prime approvals and any other regulatory requirements
- Implement and maintain the QMS, ensuring the necessary controls are in place to govern the inspection and testing undertaken
- Effectively manage the day-to-day implementation of the QMS and support colleagues in its implementation
- Effectively time-manage and prioritize activities to meet the needs of the business, colleagues and our customers
- Ensure the continued fulfillment of customer expectations
- Maintain good working relationships with cross-functions and with the wider quality community
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a scientific or engineering discipline,5 years+ experienceExperience working in a Nadcap environment is preferredExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)Experience in participating in quality investigations, leading root cause analysis process, developing corrective action plans, and ensuring the effectiveness of actions implementedAbility to effectively collaborate and lead cross-functional teams that achieve requirements / goals
