HVAC Building Technician

In your new role as HVAC Technician for our client you will support our General Manager on site with all HVAC needs. You thrive in a customer service environment and lead a strong safety culture.

• You will assist the General Manager with identifying repair and / or replacement needs; installing repairing maintaining and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment; assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job site.
• This role will include installs maintain and repair heating ventilating and air conditioning systems monitor HVAC systems and ensure that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules and standards.
• You will respond to hot and cold calls troubleshoot and resolve issues. You will check repair and / or replaces valves motors controls switches gauges wiring fans pumps compressors condensers cores pipes and other functional components of the system.
• You will perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures document all work in the CMMS system( Maximo).
• You will apply provincial and related local safety requirements to all assigned work comply with company safety and risk management policies and procedures perform work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Participate in regular safety meetings safety training and hazard assessments report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be requested.
