Data Engineer

Role : Data EngineerContract Duration : 6 months (potential to extend or conversion)Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Toronto, ON.Skills Needed : Looking for someone with Power BI , Databricks experience and maturity. Having support and deployment exp, as well as broader support capability.30 - 40% of this role is technology / application support.20% app design / architecture.10% discovery, optimization and troubleshooting.Would like experience / exposure to Open AI, Copilot Studio and other AI technologies.Responsibilities including training, user onboarding, troubleshooting.After 6mo this position can go perm or extend.Goal is to support what has already been established.What you will do : Supporting and maintaining our Analytical & AI platforms, which include Azure AI Services (OpenAI), Power BI / Fabric, Databricks, and Copilot Studio. Most of the technology is already deployed, now they need someone to help focus on trouble shooting and optimizing the technology.Help with driving user adoption and best practices through training and support.Facilitate support requests by managing their intake process : organizing requests, prioritizing, and addressing issues Addressing inquiries from various roles in the business, offering guidance on effective technology utilization, such as AI and Analytical technologies Working with cutting edge technology to build AI solutions Conducting training sessions and creating materials, assisting with onboarding and setup, and developing / maintaining user documentation and knowledge resources. Develop and implement use cases that demonstrate the value of these technologies in driving business outcomes
