We are actively searching for a Production Worker to join our Truro Ingredient Plant located at 1024 Salmon River Road, Salmon River, Nova Scotia.

What the PRODUCTION WORKER role is about :

This role will be responsible to set up, run and monitor production equipment, meet and exceed productivity goals and quality standards

Monitor and operate food manufacturing equipment, including packaging equipment, filling equipment, weighing machine and detectors

Complete all necessary forms and recording transactions in our systems (MES / ERP / WMS) while on shift, including weight check forms

Complete all required sanitation tasks and any assigned preventative maintenance tasks

Print product labels and scanning them into the central inventory system

What you need to join our team as a PRODUCTION WORKER :

Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent (GED)

One year of experience in a food production environment would be considered an asset

Ability to manually lift to 25 kg regularly

Working knowledge of WHMIS, HACCP and GMPs

Flexibility in schedule. Must be available to work the following shifts : Days / Afternoons / Nights / Weekends.

Hours are based on production need
