Wildfire Fighter Summer 2025

Osprey Forest Operations is hiring for multiple different roles and contract types for the 2025 summer wildfire season. This includes Type 2 and 3 firefighters, First Aid Attendants, Structural Protection crews, Danger Tree Assessor and Fellers Responsibilities : - Respond to wildland fire incidents and assist in fire suppression efforts- Operate and maintain firefighting equipment and tools- Construct fire lines, clear brush, and create fire breaks to control the spread of fires- Conduct controlled burns to remove fuel sources and reduce fire risks- Monitor fire behavior and report observations to supervisors- Assist in post-fire rehabilitation and restoration efforts Experience : - Previous experience as a wildland firefighter is preferred but not required- Knowledge of fire behavior, suppression techniques, and safety protocols- Ability to work in physically demanding and high-stress environments- Strong teamwork and communication skills- Willingness to undergo training and obtain necessary certifications Please note that this position may require extended periods of time away from home and may involve working in remote locations with limited access to amenities.
