The Opportunity :

We're seeking a motivated Personal Lines Retention Specialist. A sales-and service-oriented Personal Lines Insurance Broker, ready to thrive in a vibrant and supportive setting. This role is ideal for those eager to move beyond traditional brokerage frameworks and contribute to a team that's redefining industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review client renewals to ensure we have provided the most comprehensive and competitive offer
  • Drive sales through cross-selling existing clients & referrals
  • Foster and maintain client relationships, providing counsel on coverage and policy details
  • Deeply understand various insurance providers’ underwriting rules, product features & benefits
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver unmatched customer service
  • Work with the Service and Sales teams to develop workflows and procedures that enhance customer experience and improve retention
  • Upsell appropriate coverages and products based on clients’ needs
  • Problem–solve client issues

What You Bring :

  • Valuable experience in personal insurance (min. 2 years in Personal Insurance required)
  • Strong sales and service aptitudes
  • RIBO (Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario) license
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and prioritisation skills
  • Commitment to accuracy and detail
  • Strong team collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech-savviness and adaptability to a paperless workplace

    • Requirements

  • Prior Personal Insurance experience (min. 2 years)
  • Knowledge of computer applications : Proficiency with The Agency Manager (TAM), Applied Rating Services are an asset
  • RIBO or OTL Licensed
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to work in an unsupervised environment
  • Driven by excellent client service
