Job description

Adecco is hiring a Forklift Operator for our client in Scarborough, ON - please note this is for 3-4 weeks to assist on a project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift, handling inventory, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Location : Scarborough, ON
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm (with some overtime required at times)
  • Employment Type : Full-time | Temporary

Responsibilities :

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, load, and unload pallets of materials / packages.
  • Stack pallets in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and assist packaging operators as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse-related issues.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Forklift Driver + certification, or two years' experience as a forklift driver if not certified
  • Valid forklift license is mandatory.
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs, sitting, pushing and reaching.
  • Problem-solving mindset and team-oriented attitude.
