At Humber River Health Our Oncology team provides a full range of support to patients who are living with cancer, at all phases of their cancer experience - consultation, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and palliative and supportive care
We have a large Cancer Care Outpatient Clinic for chemotherapy treatments, and actively participate in Oncology clinical trials. Humber River Health was the first community hospital in Ontario to participate in these clinical trials
Right now we are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cancer Clinic.
Our Oncology nurses specialize in treating people with cancer serving as their first line of communication as they help to coordinate and deliver many aspects of a patient’s treatment, including administering medications, fluids and cancer treatments such as chemotherapy. They are caring individuals who are dedicated to assisting patients as they undergo treatment.
