Construction Senior Project Manager's Main Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Oversees total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
- Responsible for overall project performance and reporting in areas including, but not limited to safety, cost / budget, schedule, quality and project status
- Assess need for additional staff and / or consultants; liaise with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within and / or outside the organization.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Monitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, safety and environment, and quality control
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Oversees project from pre-construction to closeout.

- 10 years of local Canadian construction experience as a Construction Project Manager completing a variety of ICI projects
- Proven experience managing projects in food processing or manufacturing sectors.
- At least two full cycles of ICI projects ranging from $15M-$50M
- Asset : PMP or Gold Seal Certificate.
- Experience managing large contracts involving trades, consultants, construction management firms.
- Post-secondary diploma in a construction related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of different construction methods, sequencing, potential problems, and timelines
- Knowledge of relevant construction law and building code
