As a Supply Chain Planning Manager, your mission is to supervise a comprehensive scope of the Supply Chain Planning function, ensuring effective organization and management for specific entities, product ranges, or regions. This role involves providing strategic advice to executive management regarding all Supply Chain Planning activities, leveraging insights and data to inform decision-making. By being proactive and responsive, you guarantee that objectives are met, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the supply chain. What will you do?
- Ensure the effective implementation of industrial policies while developing the necessary skills within the team to meet organizational standards.
- Lead and manage the team in accordance with SPS / SIM rules and the plant's cycle events, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of people management, including goal setting, performance evaluations, competency development, recognition initiatives, employee engagement, and overall well-being.
- Manage resources in relation to workload according to the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and customer portfolio, ensuring optimal use of warehouse and manufacturing resources.
- Monitor and enhance the performance and productivity of warehouse and manufacturing resources, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Take responsibility for the logistics department's costs, implementing strategies to optimize operational expenses while maintaining service levels.
- Oversee all flow-related aspects (incoming, outgoing, and internal) within the plant or distribution center, leading efforts to improve supplier performance and plant flow efficiency by applying SPS principles and optimizing inventory levels. What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, or Operations
- Minimum 8 years of Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Vendor Forecasting and Customer Forecasting
- Minimum 8 years as manager
- Proficient with SAP
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Data base knowledge SQL, Access, etc
