Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Project Manager Non-IT to their team for an initial 12 months of contract with a high possibility of extension / conversion.

This role is currently hybrid, 2-3 days a week in office in Toronto.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Lead the execution of strategic sales-related projects for the Canadian Contact Centre, ensuring successful delivery on time, scope, and budget.
  • Develop and manage project documentation, including business cases, project charters, schedules, budgets, and communication plans.
  • Coordinate workstreams, establish clear roles through RACIs, and manage governance with senior stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Collaborate with internal clients to define and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with desired outcomes.
  • Oversee project execution by tracking dependencies, milestones, and activities, and proactively addressing risks and issues.
  • Prepare and present executive-level project updates, including status reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management.
  • Lead project team members, maintaining motivation and productivity while managing financial activities such as budgets, forecasts, and accruals.

Must Have Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager with Agile environment experience running sprints
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in MS Office suite and project / process design and administration tools (e.g. Visio, MS project)
  • 2-3 years of experience managing stakeholder complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • 2-3 years of experience working on Contact Centre strategies, operations, Voice & Non-Voice channels, technologies, and industry trends.
  • 5+ of Business background in financial services with strong knowledge of retail banking products (loans, mortgages, lines of credit, card cards), sales processes, and distribution channels
  • Spanish fluency is mandatory as they will be working on a project with our international countries.
  • PMP and / or Scrum Designation mandatory.

Nice to have Qualifications

Knowledge of Scotiabank's standard project processes in an asset.
