Key Responsibilities
Review daily record of duty status for hours of service violations,falsifications and form and manner errors.
Propose edits to daily record as needed and track individual driverperformance relative to compliance with all FMCSA regulations.
Submit all documentation timely to Corporate Compliance.of all ELD units
Conduct coaching and training on driver drive cam eventsConsult and train drivers on DOT regulationsIssue coaching and counseling to drivers to achieve regulatory complianceand a culture of safety.
Conduct post accident safety investigationsAssist in new hire safety training for both drivers and yard jockeysMaintain department Safety boards and work with local Safety Manager onprojects and / or duties as assigned
Conduct yard and fuel island inspections as directedConduct yard safety observations for yard jockeysEnsure driver qualifications are current to include license and DOTphysical renewals, self certifications are complete
Ensure DOT randoms are completed timely and accuratelyEnsure Roadside inspections are handled per company and DOTregulations
Ensure all post accident paperwork and accident reports are accuratelyfilled out and scanned appropriately and timely
Install and maintain all Portable ELD devices. Work with Vendor for repair.Track, monitor, and update department safety procedures, drug safetyprogram, and driver qualifications files.
Actively participate in quarterly safety meetings. Recommend topics for agenda based on performance metrics, observations and accident investigations.
Incidents must be reported promptly to the direct supervisor.And other duties as assigned.Education / Experience
Education - High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience preferred3+ years of experience working directly with commercial driversCDL Class A endorsement preferredSkills & Qualifications

At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $56,500.00.
