Location : Gatineau, Quebec
Hours : Monday to Saturday, 7 hour shifts
Responsibilities & Expectations :
- Build and maintain relationships with key client / management figures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Understand client’s vision, business strategy and policies.
- Make sure all safety and health protocols are in place, followed and updated.
- Screen, recruit and onboard new team members to their specified role.
- Understand the different components / areas of distribution centre to ensure quality.
- Tracking and maintaining metrics such as attendance, productivity, attrition and payroll.
- Maintain relationship with staff / associates on a daily basis. Be approachable to their needs.
- Understand training & SOPs of certain job roles.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalating issues between team members and client.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry changes in terms of recruitment; preparing for market peak.
- Develop plans and strategies to efficiently manage sudden changes in staffing, safety and productivity.
Experience / Requirements :
Must be bilingual in French and EnglishMust have supervisory experience.Must have strong leadership skills, be able to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word; especially Excel.Experience working at a distribution centre.Able to work independently with little supervision.Experience with following strict deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Recruitment and staffing experience an asset.Experience with Uattend an asset.
