Job Overview

The Director of Business Intelligence leads the analytics department, developing and implementing strategies that enhance data-driven decision-making. This role is critical in developing and implementing comprehensive data strategies, ensuring robust data governance, and delivering actionable insights across the organization.

Hours

  • 37.5 hours / week
  • 8 : 00 to 4 : 30 Monday to Friday (flex options available)
  • Hybrid – 3 days per week required in office
  • Responsibilities

    Analytics Oversight

  • Financial Plan Development and Tracking (Budget to Actual)
  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of regular reports on business performance, market trends, and other critical metrics
  • Ensure the availability and accuracy of reports and analytical tools to support various organizational functions
  • Analyze and Discuss Vendor Performance
  • Manage the Business Intelligence team, overseeing the development and dissemination of analytical tools and reports
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in business analytics
  • Recommend and implement best practices and innovative solutions for data management and analysis
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to optimize business outcomes
  • Continuously evaluate and improve tools and processes used by Peavey to keep abreast of industry trends and technologies in analytics
  • Strategic Leadership

  • Lead training initiatives to enhance the analytical skills of the Business Intelligence team and promote a data-driven culture throughout the organization
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to provide data-driven support for decision-making processes
  • Act as a bridge between the Business Intelligence team and other departments, ensuring that data insights support organizational objectives and decision-making
  • Direct the creation and execution of Peavey’s business intelligence strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Data Governance & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain robust data governance and compliance frameworks to ensure data integrity and security
  • Oversee the management of data sources, ensuring integrity and security
  • Requirements

    Education and Experience :

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field

    Advanced degrees or certifications in analytics or data science preferred
