Job description

Title : GEP SMART P2P Functional Consultant

Location : Alberta, Canada (Remote)

Duration : Contract

Functional Expertise :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for GEP Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) system functionality, configuration, and process alignment.
  • Provide deep knowledge of P2P modules such as requisitioning, purchase orders, supplier management, receiving (this is key for the oil and gas client) invoicing, and payments.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on GEP platform features, updates, and integrations with other enterprise systems (ERP, financial systems, etc.).

Business Process Optimization :

  • Analyze and document current procurement and payment workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement during implementation.
  • Design and implement optimized end-to-end P2P processes within the GEP platform to meet business requirements.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in procurement and supplier collaboration.

    • System Configuration & Implementation :

  • Lead or assist in the setup and configuration of the GEP P2P solution, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support system integration, data migration, and testing.
  • Validate system configurations to ensure accuracy and functionality during implementation phases.
