Job Description : Methods Change Management Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled Methods Change Management Agent to join our team. Reporting directly to the Lead, Methods, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) within our ERP system to support various aircraft programs and developmental activities.

Responsibilities

As a Methods Change Management Agent , you will :

  • Manage ECNs : Create and authorize complex changes within the ERP system to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with engineering and design requirements.
  • Impact Assessments : Conduct thorough impact assessments for design engineering changes prior to their release.
  • Facilitate Change Meetings : Lead change harmonization meetings and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and monitor the implementation plan for ECNs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise : Act as the subject matter expert in the Change Management / Change Control process across all aircraft programs, and serve as the Change Owner for developmental changes.
  • Documentation Creation : Develop and revise supplemental documentation to define the agreed build sequence for aircraft assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Work Instructions : Create and update Work Instructions (WI) under the Quality Management System (QMS) to guide manufacturing processes.
  • ECN Management : Submit and track ECNs for changes to build, design, tools, obsolescence, and improvements aimed at enhancing build efficiency and quality, including resolving non-conforming products.
  • Part Number and Make vs Buy : Assign commodity codes to new part numbers, supporting Make vs Buy decisions.
  • Technical Issue Resolution : Participate in investigations into technical issues and contribute to Root Cause Analysis. Work with Liaison Engineering to resolve build or design technical issues reported through the NCM process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Design Engineering, Production, Quality Control (QC), Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, and external STC partners to develop solutions and implement changes to resolve technical or quality issues.
  • Audit and Compliance : Ensure all design changes are properly implemented by auditing the flow of paperwork and validating the Bill of Materials (BOM) against legacy builds.
  • Continual Improvement : Participate in continual improvement initiatives, including internal and external audits, to enhance processes and increase production efficiency.
  • Training : Support the development and rollout of technical skills training for manufacturing and assembly personnel to align with the QMS.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have :

  • A combination of education and experience in aerospace manufacturing and / or engineering.
  • A degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience, such as Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in change management or project management is considered an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of the fabrication and assembly of aircraft parts .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Aerospace engineering and manufacturing principles .
  • The ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational and process design challenges.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting aircraft engineering drawings and performing impact assessments on design engineering changes.
  • Required Experience

  • 3-7 years of progressive hands-on experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally within the aerospace industry .
  • Compensation & Benefits

    For Contract Employees :

  • Hourly Rate : $50 / hour for contractors; $55 / hour with applicable licenses.
  • Per Diem : $50 / day for a 7 / 7 rotation when working 5 days per week.
  • Accommodation : Up to $1, / month provided.
  • Travel : Flights arranged at the start and end of the project.
  • Transportation : Shared vehicle available for every 4 team members.

  • Day Shift : 6 : 00 AM 2 : 30 PM
  • Afternoon Shift : 2 : 30 PM 11 : 00 PM
